Primarily responsible for leading the assigned IT programs Clinical Data Systems and Supporting Data Systems including their day-to-day operations. Support the mission and goals of CCTG IT, by determining a unified approach to ensure consistent, integrated planning and implementation of projects.Facilitate Medidata Rave EDC study builds between IT team and internal stakeholders; review design of eCRFs and integrated applications (such as specimen tracking, site/staff credentialing); oversight of development, UAT, release, maintenance; ensure timelines, deliverables are met.Oversee and manage integrated in-house developed full stack web applications including: enhancements and improvements front-end application, database design, web services/APIs; system upgrades; stakeholder demonstrations.Manage and drive cross-functional teams on projects, chair meetings and set agendas, manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines, ensure project is on time, within budget and quality deliverables are met.Conduct weekly meetings for IT staff to plan and monitor tasks, identified areas to improve focus; team training and onboarding as well as ongoing mentoring.Accountable for the day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects and will create and execute approved project plans, identify required resources, assign individual responsibilities to team members, review associated deliverables and effectively apply CCTG policies and procedures to ensure that projects are delivered within established standards.

Authored and successfully executed project plans and validation activities for clinical data systems including upgrades and data migrations for Oracle RDBMS, Medidata Rave EDC, and SASAuthoring and improving standard operating procedures, work instructions and reference documents.Management of Institution and Person Membership Roster Department including directing 3 staff members, data management of roster and membership, data monitoring, querying, analysis, initiating and creating custom reports and programs to support management, process improvement, and business decisions.Investigated and responded to IT-related observations from regulatory inspections and sponsor audits, planning and overseeing corrective actions, and preparing future preventive measures.Provide leadership, guidance and training to team members, organizing and chairing meetings.

Design, create and manage diverse relational databases and related data entry/access applications; Monitor and improve quality of database by developing and implementing relevant processes and applications; Prepare training, direct workflow and supervise work placement students; Maintain and enhance Oracle database administration; Create reference manuals, user guides and developer/DBA Standard Operating Procedures

Design, create and manage clinical databases and related data entry and data access applications; Implement primary and exploratory statistical analysis as requested by senior Biostatisticians or other researchers; Review internal processes and design and implement electronic solutions (including applications, programs and other information systems) to help our group maximize its quality and productivity; Interact internally and externally with clinical investigators, agency representatives and regulatory bodies, discussing and delivering information from our clinical database; Monitor and improve quality of electronic data and information services - develop and implement processes and tools to facilitate this mandate (e.g.. data checking, program validation, data monitoring).
