Serve as a liaison for the doctors, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses and patients. Schedule daily treatments as well as initial simulations. Run daily QA testing on the machine as well as the CT scanner. Weekly chart audits, insuring that the dose, scheduling, imaging and documentation are correct and accurate. Using the On Board Imaging system; KV/KV, Cone Beam CT, MV port films and MV/KV. Making sure that tumor localization is correct and accurate. Watching for side effects of treatment such as; skin irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea then communicating them to the doctor or nurse. Insuring the correct dose has been delivered correctly each day.
