I handle the processing and appointing of new insurance agents to sell our Preneed and Trust Guard products. I help enhance relationships with up-lines and funeral homes by providing excellent customer service and helping them through the process of on-boarding. I am highly knowledgeable of rules and regulations for licensing in all states. I working closely with other departments, i.e. New Business, Claims, and Customer Service, to resolve system issues for agents and funeral homes. I also perform in-depth quality checks to detect potential errors and resolve any issues found.

Responsibilities included implementing prairie and stream restoration project work at the ground level under the direction of a Regional or Operations Manager. Duties involved native planting, seeding, herbicide application, or any other activities necessary with field implementation of ecological restoration projects. Worked closely with the remediation and mitigation of Interstate I-69 construction project.

During the twelve weeks, I worked with the Forest Biome animals, including Amur tigers, Alaskan brown bears, American bald eagle, Asian small-clawed otters, red pandas, and five different types of lemurs. The discipline of the work required all facets of animal care (preparing diets and medicine, introducing animals into a group, cleaning the holding cages and exhibits, and preparing enrichment).
