The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient planning, organization, direction, and control of the administration of the synagogue. The Executive Director works to meet the objectives related to Beth David Synagogue’s mission and its strategic plan. Specifically, under the administrative activities related to finances, staffing and personnel operations, and activities that serve to support effective business operations. The executive director is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the congregation’s administrative and financial affairs, including supervisory responsibility for support staff and outside contracted personnel. The executive director uses considerable independent judgement in decisions that influence operations, advises, and assists the Board of Trustees in planning, policy, and operational matters. The executive director is the chief administrative employee of the congregation and works closely with the Board of Trustees and Clergy to provide a caring, collaborative, and harmonious congregational environment for the achievement of the congregation’s mission. The executive director articulates with individual members and groups of members to assist them in fulfilling their needs and desires as expressed through their affiliation with the congregation. The executive director utilizes every appropriate technique, concept, and resource to the end that Beth David Synagogue will better service the needs of its members, the Jewish People, and the community.

Served for Director of Student Life, Greensboro for two campuses in Greensboro, NC. Provided support for Jewish students on campus including: event planning and execution, Jewish and Israel education, leadership development, and exploration of their Jewish identities. Additionally, managed data/metrics, marketed to target populations, and was responsible for communication to those populations.

Athletic trainer for women’s basketball and women’s golf. Coordinated on-site continuing education for full-time staff and graduate assistants. Oversight of HIPAA compliance for the athletic training room. Daily use of electronic medical record software. Managed technology in the athletic training and served as a liaison to university technology services. Act as a liaison from patients to physicians. Transitioned medical forms from a paper to paperless system. Supervise student workers in the athletic training room. Complete administrative duties as assigned.

Provided primary on site coverage for team activities for women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country and track and field, men’s basketball and women’s basketball.
