Managing infrastructure team supporting and extending Talend's enablement training LMS (learning management system). Major focus on infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to build and maintain cloud infrastructure and provision applications.

Managed and expanded the OpsDev team supporting the public cloud hosted security training LMS (learning management system.) Paid down technical debt to provide massive performance and stability improvements while implementing support and documentation processes.

Managed the Machine Translation (MT) Cloud Operations group. Team (1st and 2nd line reports) managed the production and R&D hosting for several SDL products focused on automated human language translation. Post purchase of Collective Intellect I managed the migration of data and servers to the Oracle colocation data center (Equinix). Designed and implemented the monitoring metrics for the CI platform. As a member of an all engineering Dev team, I handled interaction and incident response coordination with the Oracle Cloud Operations Team. Served as the SPOC (security point of contact) for our group.

Managed the security compliance for the acquisition with Oracle. Managed the datacenter and all related contracts and components (network, power, servers, etc.)

Managed a team providing IT services to Educause employees and to our members in the Higher Education Technology Community. Services included the management of the .EDU domain and publication of DNS changes to the Root name Servers.Oversaw the migration of all internal servers to a colocation facility.Managed network rollout for the EDUCAUSE conferences including the annual multi-discipline conference with over 8000 attendees.

Managing Network and Data Center Infrastructure for entire campus. Due to Copper's sale to Powdr Corp, rolled out a new DS3, Cisco 2951, ASA 5520 and a Dell M1000E blade server with m610's running VMware vSphere 4 to host our virtualized MS 2008 servers. Next is implementing Cisco integrated wireless services (WCS Server, 2 wireless controllers, and 50 lightweight APs) to server our wireless lift scanners, corporate and conference users.

Responsible for maintaining production infrastructure and continually improving the speed, availability and security of the application to our 1000+ concurrent users (15000+ daily complete transactions) that connect from across the globe 24x7.My first task at Regonline was to update our entire physical and network infrastructure to achieve PCI Level 1 compliance. This helped Regonline become the first company in our field with the certification providing a strong competitive advantage.
