CurrentWork with chapter board to create a yearly business plan and budget for each chapter.Continuously track the impact of chapter programs and fundraising initiatives to measure progress towards yearly goals.Supervise special events manager and oversee special events budget and fundraising initiatives, including the organization and implementation of the organizations signature Out of the Darkness Walks.Implement AFSP programs within chapter territory both virtually and in-person, including survivor programs, education programs, and awareness initiatives.Recruit, train and manage all volunteers for the chapter with the support of chapter volunteer chair, including board members and committee volunteers.Serve as organizational representative in the community on various task forces, coalitions, advisorycommittees, and other groups as appropriate.Responsible for all chapter marketing and communication and ensuring all outreach abides by brand standards.Work with the media and act as the public face of the chapter to enhance awareness and promote fundraising goals while establishing the chapter as a subject matter expert.Manage all public policy activities, including recruiting Field Ambassadors, staffing the Public PolicyCommittee, State Capitol Days, and other policy-related initiatives.Work to create new revenue streams for the chapter including grants, cause marketing, and third party events.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTSTrained over 300 educators to facilitate More than Sad within their schools translating into thousands ofteachers, counselors and school personnel experiencing the curriculum since 2020 and allowing schoolsacross the state to meet the requirements of the Mitch Warnock Act.Started the Golf for Hope Glow in the Dark Golf Tournament in conjunction with the Board of Directorsand grew the event from less than $5K and 30 golfers in 2019 to selling out the tournament with over 120 golfers and $35K raised in 2023.
