Responsibilities:- Managing the Books and Media category on eMAG.ro in all aspects;- Commissioning and carrying out research to determine customer requirements for company assortments;- Keeping abreast of market trends and competitor activity in a fast paced environment, help identify new opportunities as well as changes to the existing offering;- Identifying any new merchandise in order to improve assortment and maintain their competitiveness in the market;- Developing plans for the launch of new merchandise together with suppliers into all relevant markets;- Analyzing product positioning in the market and making decisions accordingly- Maintain up-to-date lists of suppliers and pricing arrangements to ensure that the company achieves the most favorable commercial terms;- Monitoring the performance of suppliers and products to ensure that they meet the required standards;- Forecast sales and develop an assortment plan;- Working closely with the stock team to ensure all promotions and new lines are delivered on time;- Delivering meaningful reports, identifying issues;- Monitoring the purchasing arrangements to ensure that they are taking advantage of the most favorable terms;- Determining appropriate inventory level and product availability;- Analyzing sales reports, orders, clients demands and acting accordingly to meet and exceed sales targets;- Establishing base and promotional prices, implementing promotions;- Monitoring and evaluating performance; making adjustments;- Building up strong relationships with suppliers to deliver effective and profitable plans.
