Corina is a board member of the Filipino Volunteer Abroad Program (FIVO) under the Global Initiative for Exchange and Development (GIED), the Asia-Pacific Youth Engagement Committee representative under the ICYE Federation, and a part-time college faculty in the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy at the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR) (teaching International Studies and Social Science courses).As a passionate educator and researcher, Corina has contributed to several projects and seminars on various topics related to ASEAN, diplomacy, and Cebuano heritage. She is pursuing a master's degree in ASEAN Studies at the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) and a graduate certificate in Cebuano Heritage Studies at the University of San Carlos (USC). She is also a certified TESOL instructor, and an LMS coordinator trained in navigating Moodle, Brightspace (D2L), and Canvas, and has completed courses on global diplomacy, diplomatic protocol, and etiquette. Corina has extensive experience in intercultural exchange and volunteer service, having participated in a government and civil-sponsored program (Weltwärts Sud-Nord Programm) in Berlin, Germany, where she worked in a daycare center for physically and mentally disabled persons. Furthermore, she also participated as a volunteer in the Special Olympics. She also represented the Philippines as a top delegate in a Model United Nations (MUN) Conference held in Jakarta, Indonesia, under the UNESCO committee. She participated in international work camps in Macau and Hong Kong. In addition, she has recently concluded her fellowship training under the YSEALI Professional Fellows Program sponsored by the US Department of State's Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and in partnership with the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center of the University of Montana. Under the Civic Engagement theme, she had her fellowship training with the League of Women Voters of Montana in Missoula, Montana. Corina possesses strong leadership, organization, planning, management, and communication skills, honed through her years of teaching, volunteering, intercultural immersions, and international activities. She is a great team player, focused on her professional and personal development goals, proactive and determined, well-disciplined, and values sincerity, hard work, and diplomacy.
