I also assisted the Agricultural Biotechnology team with their communications work.Responsibilities: assisted with advocacy outreach; research on EU legislation and policy issues in healthcare, industrial and agri-food sectors; developed weekly newsletters; daily media monitoring; developed content for social media (Twitter); coordinated a social media campaign #mybiotech during the 2014 European Biotech Week; contributed to the communication work around the 2014 European Biotech Week, which included 100 events in 12 countries across Europe; contributed to the success of the European Biotech SME Awards; project managed a cocktail opening reception in the European Parliament for the opening of the 2014 European Biotech Week; worked with external designers to produce a follow-up magazine for the European Biotech Week (15.000 copies were distributed around Europe); worked on ad placements in European media publications such as The Parliament and The European Biotechnology News magazines.EuropaBio is the European Association for Bioindustries.
