Production based activity consisting of researching and updating documentation and service validation guides for various customer projects, processing data from scanned invoices using OCR software (Kofax), editing the data captured by the software and validating it according to the project's requirements.Testing and mapping the data captured by the OCR software for newly introduced invoice templates, to ensure the validation rules are properly applied before project go-live. Adjust validation rules according to the feedback received from the customer, in order to improve the quality and accuracy rate of the processed data.Second hand validation and quality checking of the processed invoice data.

My role was as Editor and Data validation operator for ProQuest Pivot, a global leader that provides unmatched tools for discovering funding opportunities and supporting collaboration in the research and development field.The main activity was to update and maintain a comprehensive database of external funding opportunities for research, education and other sponsored activities:- Maintain user profiles describing researcher's background, education, experience and research interests. The profiles for scholars were created by pulling together publicly-available content, proprietary content from university websites and user input.- Collect information about internships, grants and fellowships for students, PHD students and postdoctoral fellows interested in research. - Gather information about the requirements for obtaining funding and create database entries for these funding opportunities.- Create database entries for conferences and special issue journals and collect information from the conference website about the scope, topics, deadlines and abstract details.- Gather information about the publications and papers presented at conferences and symposiums and their respective authors.
