• Interpret source documents such as sales reports or bills and enter data in specific data fields for subsequent entry.• Responsible for ordering, receiving, and tracking over $1.5 million worth of inventory.• Manage Excel spreadsheets to track all inventory, sales, and lost sales. Compile, sort and verify the accuracy prior to entry. Code documents according to company operating procedures.• Support the data entry of multiple vendors supporting 4 different departments. Collaborate with multiple departments in a time constraint environment. Compare computer printouts and manually maintained journals to ensure accuracy of paperwork• Reconcile, note, and report any discrepancies found in records. Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.• Locate and correct entry errors or report them to management. Research missing merchandise, file claims as required.• Maintain logs of activities and completed work. Select materials needed to complete work assignments. Match order forms with invoices and record the necessary information.• Manage general office duties such to include filing of paperwork, answering telephones, and managing routine correspondence.
