SAILING FOR SCIENCE, EDUCATION AND SUSTAINABILITYDepuis 20 ans, Pacifique défend des valeurs de solidarité humaine et de conscience environnementale. Pour ce faire, Pacifique organise ses expéditions autour de trois volets :MISSIONS SCIENTIFIQUES : observer, comprendre et cartographier l’état des océans. Les voiliers offrent à la communauté scientifique internationale la possibilité de mener des programmes de recherche au long cours ou des missions ponctuelles.MISSIONS SOCIO-EDUCATIVES DE REINSERTION : avec les instances judiciaires et d’éducation suisses. En moyenne, une vingtaine de jeunes en situation de rupture sociale ou scolaire bénéficient de ces mesures de placement dans le cadre du programme «Jeunes en Mer».MISSIONS DE SENSIBILISATION : artistes «en résidence» à bord, expositions, conférences à terre et publication de livres (Sillages, le Miroir de Magellan)
