Borgorete is a social cooperative active since 1979 in the social services directed to the weakest target groups. I started to work for Borgorete and for Consorzio abn 3 years ago. Since then I have been crucially contributing to the building of a European Projects department , which didn't exist before. Together with my colleagues, we conceive, initiate, manage and coordinate innovative proposals in the field of education and particularly adult education included language learning, which is my field of specialisation. Since 2010 Borgorete has built several successful projects which contribute to develop innovation in the education domain and overall in the field of social inclusion and (re)education process in which we operate. www.borgorete.it

Isabel is one of the initiatives funded by the European Commission to promote citizens to be more active in their communities: to stimulate them to participate in joint activities and to take part in learning, both formal courses and just learning with others less formally. This project uses community reporting and social media to involve citizens from every walk of life in a range of activities focused on their communities and neighbourhoods.Isabel began in December 2010 and runs until November 2012 and on this web site you will see the stories that individuals and communities from 6 different countries have written, filmed and recorded to show how they are working together. The project is about learning. Participants have acquired all kinds of skills and knowledge to tell stories in different ways, using different media and distributing them in all sorts of platforms from newspapers to Facebook, Twitter and radio. But we are also committed to spreading that learning and making it available to as many people as possible.
