-Technical assessment of newly-submitted manuscripts including, but not limited to: checking that submissions are within the scope of the journal, and in the correct format with correct corresponding author details, etc., when necessary helping authors with troubleshooting submission problems. -Administration of the peer-review process using the ScholarOne submission system. - Assist with performing quality control on newly submitted manuscripts, and use Photoshop to conduct forensic image analyses on the figures submitted with revised manuscripts-Develop and maintain the database of reviewers and authors in the ScholarOne system. Ensure that the database is up-to-date and accurate, including administering ad-hoc changes, the routine merging of duplicate entries, routine checking of associated ORCID accounts, and updating of addresses. -Day-to-day running of all social media accounts -Collaborating with UICC and Wiley on joint projects and journal promotion-Development of a social media strategy to increase traffic and followers
