The Cultural Informatics research group based at the University of Brighton, undertakes research across a spectrum of interdisciplinary areas to support the development and use of digital collections. Research focuses on technical areas, including 3D virtual environments, archives and collections management systems, web and museum based interactive applications and language technologies. Also covered by research are non-technical areas, including testing, economic and social impact evaluation in support of the development of the cultural heritage sector and its opportunities in tourism, entertainment and education.

Responsibility for budget management – budget builds, forecasts, commentaries.Project initiation and management:• Care & Support services survey (in association with the Social Policy and Research team)• Person Centred (PC) Champions (feeding into personalisation work stream reporting to Care and Support board)• Involving People Steering group (cross directorate work involving staff, volunteers and networks of people who use services)• Policy folder creation and maintenance.Trained in service audits - working alongside colleagues in the Risk teamTrained in service reviews - developing and conducting service reviews and approaches based on best practice Development and delivery of Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Quality Assessment Framework (QAF) information workshops both within Action on Hearing Loss and externally to Surrey County Council.Direct service support, point of contact for external organisations such as Positive Options and MacIntyre with regards to arranging the delivery of training and follow up meetings.Contributing to the development of systems, such as the on-line Quality Monitoring Tool.Support to managers to complete and review their Provider Compliance Assessments for CQC. Maintaining annual reviews of social care policy, developing and up-dating new policies as required. Supporting managers to a professional standard in line in regulatory requirements this includes liaising with key stakeholders with regard to meeting these standards. Working to ensure all paperwork is accessible to the people who use the service, and have worked closely with all stakeholders and lead a working party (involving people group) in order to facilitate workshops and forums, which provide individuals with a suitable arena to share ideas and comments with regard to the progression of each service.

Working in a multi-disciplinary team including Special Needs Housing Officers, Debt Recovery and Benefits. Close work with the Community Safety Team, Police and lawyers to ensure that tenants receive the level of service expected from the organisation and to assist tenants in maintaining their tenancies wherever possible.
