The Sales Learning Agility and Training Experience (SLATE) is a one-year rotational, internal sales & support development program providing a series of training modules focusing on sales & service roles leading to gaining the knowledge and licensing needed to perform as a successful internal wholesaler.

Challenging learning opportunity where interns are placed within various departments throughout Honda which include: Product Planning, Export Service, Marketing, Motorcycle, Environmental Business Development, Sales, Parts & Service, and Logistics. In addition to gaining experience in a corporate environment interns have the opportunity to expand project management, presentation, and team-building skills. Qualifications:-Sophomore, Junior or Senior level full-time student at an accredited 4-year college/university-Minimum 3.0 GPA or better (Transcripts Required)-Major in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Automotive Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Communications or Public Relations preferred-Strong communication skills, written and verbal-Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)-Exhibited leadership, problem solving, and collaboration skills-Highly motivated and a self-starter-Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program-Must have local housing and transportation for the duration of the program-Must be available to work between early June to early August 2017 (subject to change)

• Develop a community service program that runs throughout the semester impacting the surrounding public. • Administer civic giving to one or more respectable charitable organizations in line with our value system. • Encourage IBC members to volunteer a minimum of ten service hours at a nonprofit organization(s) as a team. • Oversee team member service hours, initiative, follow-through, interpersonal skills, team work, and job knowledge. • Compose the philanthropy segments for the IBC website, Annual Report, and Loan Proposal. • Assist with event/product teams when available in order to contribute to the overall productivity and success of the company.

Researched inventory management systems for adoption by the Batik Boutique that catered to its financial, organizational and operational goals.Adopted the Quickbooks Online Plus inventory system and adopted it for multiple consignment shop, color, and pattern variant use without matrix inventory functionality.Consolidated and implemented a standardized, master inventory list to maximize compatibility between inventory control systems.Prepared a corporate contact template.Retrieved, composed and consolidated contact information from corporate entities.Authored and edited numerous blog posts to be uploaded onto the Batik Boutique’s website: http://www.thebatikboutique.com/ (which I created- see previous year's Marketing Internship).Composed a press release for the Amazin’ Graze Batik Boutique Ramadhan collaboration. Fashioned two interviews.Spearheaded the creation of SKU codes for all inventory items.Developed income accounts, expense accounts, and inventory asset accounts in order to record inventory by consignment shop. Expedited a production line for corporate gifts. Tracked inventory of stock and made a working database for future tracking.

Developed, adapted and operated the Batik Boutique's new website using the ecommerce tool ShopifyInstalled and implemented the web service Google Analytics to track and report website traffic.Researched social media statistics to assist in the implementation of consumer relation and marketing strategies.Planned and controlled various aspects of photoshoots in order to minimize risk and accelerate unstemmed creativity.Conducted competitive analyses gaining entrepreneurial insight.Perused knowledge on fair trade business in a social enterprise to boost entrepreneurship advocacy in a developing country.Acted as creative director and stylist for multiple editorial photoshoots.Installed and implemented the web service Google Analytics to track and report website traffic.Added a toggle button to the online store by editing the HTML for currency formatting by creating a currency snippet to enable switching between the USD & MYR. Photographed the Batik Boutique's appearance at the Social Enterprise Experience Showcase held in conjunction with the launch of the Malaysian Social Enterprise Blueprint by Prime Minister Y.A.B. Dato' Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Abdul Razak of Malaysia.
