I am a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Plan II Honors and a B.S. in Honors in Advanced Human Development & Family Sciences with a minor in African and African Diaspora Studies. This past year, I served as the President of the Senate of College Councils, the Student Coordinator for the Commemoration and Contextualization Initiative, and just recently completed an honors thesis to conclude my tenure as a Research Assistant in the College of Natural Sciences. At present, my passions are higher education policy, social psychology (specifically aging/older adults), and student advocacy. Following graduation, I will study abroad in Oxford, England as part of the Exploring UK Education program. After the program, I plan to attend law school and later pursue a graduate degree in either Black studies, Human Development, Public Policy, or some combination of the three.Outside the classroom, I maintain a budding vinyl record collection, parent several plants, and hike as often as time allows.
