Current• Provide paralegal and administrative support to a partner in the Energy Group and provide ongoing support to other attorneys as requested.• Assisted with presentation of comprehensive utility rate cases before the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and petitions for approval before the Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Board for the construction and operation of several electric transmission lines in central and eastern Massachusetts and liquefied natural gas facility in central Massachusetts; managed, submitted evidentiary filings, and organized cases involving in excess of 3,000 exhibits and assisted with briefing and procedural matters.• Assist with preparation of filings in rate and regulatory matters at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities.• Assist with government relations matters in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for offshore wind.• Manage and monitor regulatory and judicial dockets and schedules for numerous regulatory proceedings, including the preparation of sophisticated discovery summaries and status reports.• Manage complex projects and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.• Assisted with energy contracting matters for a large Rhode Island hospital.• Coordinate and manage services provided by outside vendors, including: translation of documents and translator attendance at hearings; local newspapers for publishing of legal notices; photocopying for large filings; and stenographers.• Compose, prepare and review procedural correspondence, motions and agreements, and meeting agendas.• Liaise between attorney and clients (often direct, independent contact addressing the client’s needs).• Prepare quarterly and year-end billing reports, as well as review billing for all clients.• Coordinate appointments, calls and meetings, track and maintain schedules, travel, hotel and itinerary arrangements.• Coordinate co-hosted reception for approximately 350 attendees at annual off-site symposium.
