I am an environmental archaeologist with a focus in the intersection between geology and anthropology when studying human prehistory. I have a strong background in research, as well as teaching undergraduate courses in archaeology, anthropology, and museum studies. My current research focuses on the provenance and use of stone tools from central Spain, using a combination of methods based in archaeological, anthropological, and geological research. Additionally, I have a strong background in writing and editing, particularly working with grant writing and technical research reports. I have previously worked as an editing assistant and data analyst for the Journal of Archaeological Method and Theory, where I edited articles for grammar and analyzed trends in publication data. Since 2022, I have worked for TallGrass Archaeology LLC as a Project Archaeologist and in house reports editor for all excavation and preservation reports. I am passionate about interdisciplinary projects and geoarchaeological work, and bringing this information to a larger audience through science communication. I argue one of the best ways researchers of all types communicate their work to the world is through the written word, something I seek to promote through my work as an editor.
