As a graduate of Hospitality Management, I have spent the last 5.5 years gathering experience in multiple facets of the Hospitality industry including hotels, food and beverage, marketing, and events. I have planned over 5 large-scale events and been involved in countless others. I have had the privilege of touring facilities in each market segment, including multiple hotels, food and beverage facilities, distilleries, airports, event spaces, and even stadiums. While I've seen much, I know I have only touched the surface of the ocean of hospitality. Now, armed with my degree and years of experience, I am excited and prepared to dive in.I have a background working with supply vendors on ordering and managing inventory, as well as service vendors via leasing and marketing services. In my previous position as a Marriott Event Coordinator, I had the unique opportunity of experiencing all sides of the event management process and practicing budgeting, basic accounting, and client relations. I am also equipped with my National ServSafe Manager Certification, and AHLEI Food and Beverage Operations Certification, and skilled with both CI/TY and FOSSE hotel inventory systems. I am a passionate student of life who is obsessed with curiosity; I find myself motivated to understand people, quality, innovation, and value in the service industry in particular. It is not only possible to give great service but to exceed expectations and leave a life-long impact on those we serve. Through hundreds of guest interactions, I've learned that conflict occurs at the mercy of communication and intention which remain at the forefront of my approach to leadership.
