In my academic, honors, and MYP (IB) chemistry courses, I inspire students to learn about science and learn about life. I also communicate with their parents and my colleagues to ensure that every student achieves, using data to increase the strength of my pedagogy.

Solely responsible for creating a curriculum and planning a 3-week biomedical science course for gifted students ages 12-15; responsible for evaluating student performance in classroom and laboratory settings; ensured student safety and wellbeing; in 2012, hosted associate instructor and evaluated lessons in anticipation of a CTY program in Egypt.

Performed chemical and biological analyses of water samples according to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Standard Methods. Certified to perform tests for presence of ammonia, nitrates-nitrites, biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, phosphorus, flashpoint/ignitability, total Kjeldahl nitrogen, total suspended/dissolved solids, volatile suspended solids, alkalinity, hardness, chlorine, and pH.
