Recently I have worked with Bolek Grant Writing and Consulting Services on research and writing tasks for a large grant proposal in the Evansville, IN area. I was excited to have this opportunity to expand and challenge my writing skills and gain exposure to the non-profit industry.Some of my responsibilities in this position consisted of:• Assisting in analyzing research data for the intended strategic solutions stated in the Evansville Promise Neighborhood Grant proposal• Writing strategically about how research data supports the efficacy of the intended strategic solutions stated in the grant proposal mentioned above• Updating a services overview handout for potential clients which included creative aspects of writing, design and visuals

During my final semester at IU, I had the opportunity to be a co-lead of my public relations campaign team for our capstone course. We worked to improve communications between the Habitat for Humanity ReStore of Monroe County, IN and its various audiences. This was an invaluable experience to develop my skills as a public relations professional, leader and teammate. Some of my responsibilities in this position consisted of: • Communicating with clients from Habitat for Humanity’s local ReStore to discuss the non-profit’s marketing and communications needs• Assisting in leading a team of peers to conduct and analyze primary and secondary research data to support strategic plan• Collaborating with team members to determine public relations goals, objectives and tactics to improve and strengthen client outreach efforts within the community• Developing a research report of findings and a campaign book of a strategic yearly plan to present to the client

Alpha Xi Delta has inspired and molded me in more ways than one, however my greatest achievement as a member has been serving on our executive board. As Membership Vice President I had the opportunity of leading my sorority's 135 members during the recruitment process at Indiana University.Some of my responsibilities in this position consisted of:• Working with a professional media company to create promotional videos for sorority recruitment purposes• Tracking sorority’s performance data from past years and increased recruitment return rate from 82% in 2018 to 95% in 2019• Supervising and delegating tasks to over 100 sorority members to accomplish recruitment goals• Organizing monthly workshops for member education to ensure understanding of recruitment events and expectations set by the National Panhellenic Association• Communicating constantly with Alpha Xi Delta’s national headquarters, other sorority organizations, a team of advisors and third party vendors
