Sumpter & Gonzalez is a law firm that combines the expertise of trial attorneys with the advocacy of social workers to defend people accused of committing all kinds of crimes in the federal and state court systems. We handle complex white-collar federal cases, as well as serious violent felonies in state court. We assist young people and their families with juvenile and school disciplinary actions, and we also work with clients of all ages with significant addiction and/or mental health issues, or those who have experienced trauma or are victims in criminal cases. I am the managing partner of the firm, and as a lawyer I have a particular interest and expertise in juvenile defense and the intersection between school discipline and the Juvenile Justice and Criminal Justice Systems.
