Harmony is my #1 strength according to my CliftonStrenths survey. Reflecting on what I enjoy most about my job and how I handle regular life situations, I can't disagree. My calm, cool, and collected persona avoids unnecessary conflict and instead delivers consensus when dealing with so many personalities, at work and at home (teenagers, am I right?). Here are a few key points about me that have made me successful thus far and tie back to my strengths:- I welcome opportunities to learn new skills or gain more knowledge about the Organization I support to make me a better business partner - my years as an internal auditor and on the corporate development team has allowed me to do just this.- I find a friendly personality, persistence to find the answer that makes the most sense, and knowing who to go to for those answers seems to be working out well for me. - I am fulfilled by meeting other's high expectations.- When problems arise I don't run from them, I work to resolve them.- I often joke that I heard cats for a living; I'm often making sure we have the right people, in the right place, at the right moment in order to keep things moving forward. - With almost 20 years in the Corporate environment, I have learned the importance of agility, integrity, and innovation in order to continue to drive for excellence. Besides cat herding, my specialties include project management, communication, problem solving, fostering engagement across team members, working cross-functionally, and learning new systems. I am working on improving my leadership skills in order to keep advancing my career to a senior leadership role one day.
Listed skills include Auditing, Process Improvement, Sarbanes Oxley Act, Sap, and 42 others.
