LibriVox is an online global community of volunteers creating audiobooks of public domain texts to release for free back into the public domain. I do all my own recording, editing, sound processing, etc. (except in some rare-but-fun cases) and have contributed to many collaborative works as well as working on my own solo LV projects. I used to assist in the meta-coordination of the site but have largely stepped back from that now (2019 and on.)My solo works include readings of 'Frankenstein, 'The Scarlet Letter', 'Black Beauty', and 'The War of the Worlds'. This project is entirely run by volunteers -- the only payment relates to our catalogue support and hosting.
