My childhood was littered with broken toys. I would dismantle every toy, game, or gadget in sight to understand how and why they worked the way they did. And, just as in life, many attempts to rebuild them to their full functionality, failed. My broken or less than perfectly re-assembled toys were no deterrent though, they were lessons learnt for future success.Studying pharmacy attests to this curiosity and was the main driver behind specializing in Pharmaco-economy. This in turn lead to finding data analytics and the endless rabbit hole that analytics takes us down. And to think, this all started with a broken toy.One of my biggest strengths is being able to see skills and talents that people don’t even realize they have, and I find great satisfaction in helping them discover and develop these skills and seeing them gain confidence. Time is a precious thing, and if I can help someone find joy in the place, they spend most of their day in, I can sleep soundly at night.My family would say that I get easily annoyed when things don’t work or take longer to do than I think they should. The flip side of this, is a constant quest to find better, easier solutions and embracing the changes necessary to implement these fixes.
