I am a process engineer with extensive experience in metal treatment and molten metal quality for aluminum casting. With a PhD in chemical engineering, I bring chemical engineering concepts in fluid flow, kinetics, and thermodynamics to molten metal treatment processes. I also have hands-on experience in operating and interpreting the results of hydrogen and inclusion measurement techniques - AlSCAN, HYCAL, LiMCA, PoDFA, and Prefil. I have served as the primary technical resource in metal treatment and metal quality for Alcoa ingot plants worldwide, providing advice and recommendations for process and quality troubleshooting. I'm now interested in using that expertise as a consultant to the aluminum industry.I enjoy the challenge of solving quality problems that cross multiple process areas, using process data, quality data, and experience from other situations to identify and implement cost-effective solutions to process and quality needs. Please contact me at corleen8@verizon.net
