Joined the 12-man data science advisory team and the 10 to 15-man business advisory team for an incubator (IdeaLab) advising 120 startup companies for 4 months. Assigned to Data Science Army, Now Equity, Rise Capital, Resume Survivor, Momentum, A_Connect, PIMPLYMPIC, EasyLazy, and Second Chances

Spearheaded M&A, valuation, and assisting in negotiation of sell-side acquisitions across 4 primary verticals: (1) Medical, (2) Veterinary, (3) Dental, and (4) other listed businesses. Authored various industry reports for the veterinary and acute care verticals. Worked on leveraged buyout’s and in general charged with oversight of forecast, budget, and actuals among partners. we also prepared sellers for sale by providing certain services and advisory for free and for compensation through another entity.

 Working for the number two (globally) performing private equity division of a pension fund, I cross-leveraged portfolio and business management expertise to oversee and create portfolio assets, generating a significant number of small-sized acquisitions ~$250M in FY2016; $60-80M in FY2017 and manually valued 150-180 companies (traditional EBITDA and discounted cashflow based valuation). This requires financial analysis and valuation as well as contract negotiation skills. I also identified underproducing portfolio doctors using time series ARMA forecasting to determine if a location was an out of control process. I had to manually update price sheets as well as grouped items. Saw areas of improvement in existing modeling processes. Created functional valuation multi-factor model with a time series component that enabled appropriate pricing of acquired practices and appropriate EBITDA multiple to bid in January 2017.  Chiefly oversaw various acquisitions processes and dealt with a team of 5 field individuals. Developed accurate forecasting and budgeting in addition to pitch deck, due diligence and contract negotiations. Launched and managed SalesForce and saw roughly 100-150% increase in acquisitions within 12 months. Engaged in a whole process redesign which reduced acquisition timelines from several months to about 45-60 days. Integration of suppliers and inventory and provided business use cases of properly managed inventory, which I learned at Westcon Group (a distributor), which is, generally not a small project.

 Utilized statistical forecasting techniques to forecast net working capital requirements as well as all line items on the P&L during 2-year employment span as a [global level] Financial Analyst at $6B distributor with coverage over Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific. Entrusted with long-term forecast maintenance and applied multiple forecasting methodologies. Created functioning and comprehensive proforma budget and forecast financials (income statement, budget, and statement of cash flows) every month. Created, updated and maintained 10+ high-level, particularly long reports for the overall company. Delivered analyst presentation and the operating report. In addition, organized the board presentation and presented balance sheet review as well as competitor and vendor analysis. Was responsible for updating the valuation for impairment tests. Restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation. I was specifically responsible for budgeting and forecasting half of the global cost centers. Contributed towards VereCloud (US) acquisition and Comztek (Africa) acquisition, resulting in 50-100m+ of additional revenue (Comztek) and adding 10m+ dollars of intellectual property to the balance sheet (VereCloud).
