Started my working career at a company called Laserquest(Today better known Laser Tag). My job was to fix laser packs or suits in a little workshop at the back of the shop in a busy street in the early 90's. Got noticed there by the owner of a company renting out video games and pinball machines who offered me a better job. There I learned to fix anything from power supplies to complicated simulators. In my opinion it was the business where I pretty much learned everything from electronics to running a business. Project management of opening huge arcades, finances and anything else in between. From there I bought into a pool bar/night club with a partner and got stuck in that for at least 16 years until Covid19 changed or ruined that industry completely! Started my security company in 2007 between all the other complicated business operations of pool , Djs, alcohol and things you can only describe in books. Today I can pretty much still fix and install anything from gate motors to program complicated alarm systems. I enjoy electronic security the most and for now I am into it 100%. It's a tough industry with players coming and going constantly, but if you SUPPLY/SOLVE security solutions/problems rather than selling them then you are half way there already. That's where I am now and enjoying every second of designing special security solutions and just sometimes fix and make security systems actually do what they are supposed to do.
