I have a background as independent attorney for more than 14 years in my own office in Aachen. My focus was on family law and I have learned allways to communicate in a way that suits the respective interlocutor, simple and comprehensible as well as legally specific and interlective . I realized that I was missing the exchange with colleagues. So I have changed to the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland in 2014, where teamwork ist one of the most important things. Just like I have to make decisions on my own in all questions of government applications, there are many projects and procedures where I am working together with a lot of different partners/stakeholders. It gives me great pleasure to find solutions in multi-professional teams, because it is interesting and always you will learn new things. And because I love to improve myself every day anew I just have started with the degree of state-certified business economist (Bachelor Professional) at the Business School Herzogenrath .

  What are the criteria for a regulatory approval process and why are they definied in this way? These are the questions in my professional field of work of regulatory approvals procedures. This includes a lot of operations and permit applications of church communities and districts in relation to their real estate management.So sometimes I have to advice on ecumenical use of buildings and sometimes a fusion of some evangelical church communities.Just as supervising the economic operations of evangelical cemeteries.More and more the church communities find cooperation with non-profit companies an municipalities for district developments, mostly in constructions projects. Together with other professions like architects and theologians we are consulting in this cases.In addition I have to organize and conduct training for our administrative staff.And last but not least our department staff has to improve administrative procedures and create job aids and guides.And now and then I have to participate in projects of the legal department in legislative procedures.It's realy a colorful bouquet of tasks working for the church.
