About Cornelia Cody

Actor (regional stage and television), bilingual playwright, director, editor, author of children's literature and plays, and textbook author (Spanish and French). My teaching experience includes languages, theater (including the performance of bilingual personal experience narratives), the theory and performance of humor/comedy, and dramatic literature at the university level. I have taught at New York University, Goucher College, Trinity Washington University, and the University of Maryland. I began my teaching, advisement, and theater career at The Park School of Baltimore, Maryland the year I graduated from Goucher College. I now live in the Netherlands, married to a Dutchman! Since 2017, I have been teaching English and Spanish for Berlitz Language School (Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam). I continue to write and direct plays for GALA Hispanic Theatre and am working on a Young Adult novel.
