I am currently shareholder and CEO of BIT-TS. This role combines my interest in computer graphics, physics and AI to deliver relevant and reliable synthetic data for our customers. At Intel a key part of my role was to help to develop strategies to bring Artificial Intelligence solutions to life for Intel‘s customers and drive the EMEA AI strategy for data services and products.Before that I worked at BMW Group, where I was representing BMW within the VDA flagship initiative autonomous and connected driving to drive the cross-OEM-cooperation in the field of AI and data. I was also responsible for managing the AI Project Family and set up consortias with 80 leading partners from science and industry. The focus of my work was on synthetic data and self-learning models for training and validating machine learning approaches. Previously, I worked at BMW Group in the field of driver assistance systems including driver state models and HMI concepts based on machine learning. In doing so, I established research labs in Europe, USA and Asia.This work builds on my previous experience at RTT in Munich, where from 2008 to 2011 I was Research, Technology & Innovation Manager. I started my career there as a computer scientist on rendering and global illumination algorithms and gained international research and consulting experience in USA, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and China.In addition to my work, I am involved in the ACM and Computer Graphics community and mentoring initiatives.
