Cornelia is currently a Data Scientist at Scigenix where she is involved in data management and data product development. Assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good, automated manufacturing practice (GAMP) systems, validating processes, providing documentation, and managing staff. Management of the planning, prototyping and production of pragmatic, end-to-end data solutions to relevant internal and external stakeholders, from data identification and collection to analyses and presentation in the form of deployed data products.Her previous position was as a Senior Project Manager and Quality Control Officer at nuvoteQ. She serves as the project lead on the Clinical Trial Community platform (https://ctc.africa) being developed with the African Academy Sciences. On top of this she also oversees the nuvoteQ operations related to the digitization of home healthcare records throughout South-Africa. Working with different societies and pharmaceutical companies across African and India to implement dynamic eRegistries utilizing the Phoenix platform (https://nuvoteq.io/phoenix) is also part of her portfolio.She has a background in Forensic Pathology, and has almost 4 years’ experience in Clinical Data Management and Drug Development digitization. Before joining nuvoteQ Cornelia designed a concept in partnership with the University of Pretoria (as part of her Master's degree) to develop a mobile application to assist in the evaluation and investigation of death scenes in forensic medical practice.Cornelia obtained her Master’s degree in Medical Criminalistics, from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
