Cornelia is a seasoned current NYSE independent board director and ESG Committee chair. She has experience as a NYSE listed company board member on the Audit, Compensation, Governance, Succession Planning and Investment Committees. She is an expert in corporate finance, M&A, capital markets, recapitalization, REIT financings with 25+ years of experience in investment banking, private credit and private equity, having managed an investment portfolio of over $2 billion in her career. She is a strategic thinker and tenacious problem solver. She is a trusted board leader and advisor to middle-market founders and C-suite of both public and private companies. She has a particular focus on facilitating growth for founder, family-owned companies and women & minority owned businesses. She was named a 2023 Banking and Finance Visionary in the Los Angeles Times Banking and Finance Magazine.Cornelia is a board member of LTC Properties, Inc. (NYSE: LTC) and chairs the ESG Committee. She is also a member of the Compensation, Succession Planning and Investment Committees. She is a volunteer board member of ACG Los Angeles (Executive Committee member and chairs its DE&I Committee) and co-chairs ACG Global's DE&I Task Force. She is actively looking to contribute on another corporate board and with non-profit boards where she can make an impact. She previously served on two non-profit boards. She was also a board observer on two private company corporate advisory boards. She has successfully established new LA offices for MGG, Brightwood Capital, and Prudential Private Capital and SF office for CIBC World Markets. Cornelia’s background includes head of regional private credit and direct lending Investment team, investment banking M&A advisory, syndications/debt capital markets, sponsor coverage, and talent management. She has a deep network and industry expertise, having invested over $2 billion in institutional funds in real estate REITs, Aerospace & Defense, Business Services, CPG Food & Beverage, Equipment Rentals, Healthcare/Hospitals, Non-profits & Endowments, Packaging, PEOs, Restaurants, Specialty Finance, Saas/Technology, and Transportation/Logistics.
