My work and research are grounded in the understanding that social change starts from the inside out, and is nurtured from the outside in. ****Combining research and practice I draw on the past to influence the future. As a humanitarian practitioner, I worked for two decades with UNICEF and the World Food Program in large-scale emergencies in West Africa, Asia, and Latin America. As a senior lecturer, coach, and researcher, I collaborate with universities, around the world. Holding a PhD in Law I am since 2023 a Senior Research Fellow at the Wharton Initiative for Neuroscience and the School of Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. My focus is on ProSocial AI, or the potential of AI to bring out the best for people and planet. I am a Forbes Contributor on topics related to AI for Social Impact https://www.forbes.com/sites/corneliawalther/In 2017 I initiated the POZE dynamic (Perspective – Optimization – Zeal – Exposure) in Haiti, which has since grown into a global network of like-minded thinkers and doers. In 2020 POZE@global was established in 2022 as an alliance of un-likeminded, yet like-hearted leaders committed to social change. It offers cross-cultural tools for hybrid change. My work focuses on sustainable social transformation, including the potential of aspirational algorithms for positive social change at scale. POZE Website https://www.poze.ccRecent books include ‘Development, Humanitarian Action, and social welfare’; ‘Humanitarian Work, social change, and human behavior’; ‘Connection in Times of Covid’, ‘Technology, Behavior and Social Change’, Leadership for Social Change and Development. Founder Poze@EzopPoze Network Jan 2022 - PresentNew York, New York, OoPOZE@ezop is a community of like-minded thinkers and doers who want change, and make it happen. POZE is a paradigm; a perspective to see and live life differently. It is anchored in the connection of the 2 x 4 dimensions that influence the present and future of human beings, individually and collectively. On a personal level, these are soul, heart, mind and body; which find their expression in aspirations, emotions, thoughts and sensorial experiences. At the collective level life ensues from the interaction between people, communities, societies and Nature. Nothing happens in a vacuum; everything is connected. Who we are and become is the cause and consequence of an organic kaleidoscope that is constantly changing. This understanding transforms the utopia of Universal Wellbeing into a practical endeavor that involves everyone. ezop is a place for people who want a world in which everyone can develop their full potential. It is a place of inspiration and interaction, to share resources and co-create solutions. Membership is open to anyone who believes in inclusive social change and is willing to make it happen.POZE offers a perspective to change oneself and society; whereas ezop opens a safe space to translate the aspiration for pro-social change into tangible results. POZE@ezop is universally applicable and accessible; online and offline. Those who join contribute in multiple ways, offering their energy, ideas, talents and resources in whichever way they choose. -
