Project Oversight:- Monitor and oversee projects, ensuring compliance with municipal policies and GRAP standards.- Conduct project analysis and FAR data evaluation, reporting on deficiencies impacting project outcomes.- Review municipal asset policies and propose amendments as needed.- Regularly report on project progress, liaise with stakeholders, and attend municipal meetings.Fixed Asset Register Compilation:- Drafted reconciliations between the Fixed Asset Register, WIP register, General Ledger, and Annual Financial Statements.- Identify and report on bundled asset line items, leading unbundling efforts.- Liaise with company divisions, discussing general asset movement and occurrences - Calculating RUL adjustments, replacement costs, fair values, impairment, disposal, and depreciation charges.- Prepare asset movement journals, reconcile FAR, GL, and AFS, and assist with CaseWare mapping issues.Asset Management System:- Provide inputs for system development, liaise with development teams, and maintaining system functions.- Providing internal and external system support, including error resolution, training, and testing functionality.Integration:- Implementing and monitoring integrated systems, ensuring mSCOA compliance and alignment with financial systems.- Assist clients with journal validation errors related to mSCOA implementation.General Administration:- Support tender submissions and conduct presentations on asset management system and FAR compilation.- Attended meetings with internal and sub-system vendors.- Draft monthly billing reports, providing progress updates to company seniors.- Act as a bridge between clients and management for additional procurements.Overall:Maintain a strong understanding of GRAP principles, mSCOA reporting, and municipal policies.
