With over ten years of experience in education and leadership, I am passionate about empowering students, teachers, and communities to achieve their full potential. As the school principal at BridgePrep Academy, I oversee the academic, operational, and social-emotional aspects of a diverse and inclusive charter school that serves students from kindergarten to eighth grade. I work with a dedicated team of educators and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment, implement rigorous and innovative curriculum, and foster strong partnerships with parents and stakeholders. In addition, I am the co-founder and leadership coach at I.D.E.A. Education Consulting, LLC, a firm that provides professional development, coaching, and consulting services to schools, districts, and organizations. I help leaders and educators develop and enhance their skills, strategies, and mindsets to improve student outcomes and organizational performance. I also co-founded YE&B- Young, Educated & Black, a social enterprise that aims to inspire, educate, and empower Black educators and leaders through mentoring, networking, and career development. As a co-founder and leadership coach, I leverage my background and experiences in education to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the field of education and leadership, and to support the growth and success of the next generation of leaders.
