Leads a work force of over 400 military, civilian, and contractor personnel, with property/equipment valued in excess of $1.9B. Executes annual reimbursable basedbudget in excess of $71M. Manages cost, schedule, and performance for 9 ACAT 1C/D aircraft and aviation systems flight test programs vital to current combat operations and Aviation transformation. Develops innovative testing methodologies/technologies, including virtual and distributed test initiatives. Responsible for training and development of a diverse and highly technical work force, and for the safe and efficient operation of up to 89 test and training aircraft types/designs/series and support equipment. Executes an annual flying hour program in excess of 6,000 hours. Directly affects safety of flight & airworthiness for all Army Aviation assets; directly supports contingency operations by providing embedded testers in Combat Aviation Brigades.
