Hello! I'm Cornelius Lambert, an accomplished professional with a unique blend of experience in information technology, engineering design, and teaching. I have proven myself to be a versatile professional in the ever-evolving landscape of technology. I have a passion for teaching, and I am working toward that goal. Starting with my educational background, I hold a certificate of completion from Collins Career Center in IT Programming & Networking. Following that, I hold a Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Animation and Game Development. I also have a strong knowledge of engineering design from courses taken at Mountwest Community & Technical College under Theodore Triplett. I'm proficient in Computer-Aided Design, particularly with AutoCAD, showcases my ability to bring intricate engineering designs to life. Whether it's creating precise blueprints or designing intricate structures, my mastery of this powerful tool sets me apart in the field. My understanding of Statics & Mechanics of Materials demonstrate my grasp on the fundamental principles of engineering design. This foundation has equipped me with a solid understanding of computer systems and software, allowing me to navigate the complex realm of technology with ease. In 2011, I began attending school at Collins Career Center; studying computer programming. I graduated with a certificate of Programming and Networking since I had to choose another program due to the teacher resigning at the end of my first year. After graduating from Collins Career Center in 2013; I began college the following fall semester. My favorite classes were the programming courses! For two years, I was the go-to person if anyone needed tutoring in information technology courses. In 2015, I graduated and had obtained my associates in applied science. The following fall, I began attending classes for Engineering Design Technology. By the middle of 2016, I needed to take some time off from school; so I entered the full-time workforce as opposed to part-time employment. In 2018, I wanted to continue my education; I went back to school. In 2019, I left college after completing 113 total credit hours at Mountwest CTC. In 2020, I began working as a in-home healthcare provider. I worked this job throughout the entire pandemic and worked overtime just about every week. I didn’t leave this job until 2022, months after I began working for Wayne County Schools as a custodian.
