Worked for ADS (Now known as Thales Defence Systems (TDS)) with the technical responsibility to development, enhancement and maintenance of the MMI (GUI) and real-time software, for an artillery fire control observation system. The system were initially developed in ADA 83 for Lynx OS and later ported to ADA 95 for Linux. Successfully integrated multiple hardware and software system elements using a combination of GIS, optical systems, sensors, vehicle control systems, INU and GPS. After development the testing and validation of the software followed. I had to create test documentation to be used in system V&V with the client. Worked for ADS (Now known as Thales Defence Systems (TDS)) on an information management prototype for the Intelligence community. The system had a number of terminals connected to a central server running Windows server 2003.The prototype was developed in Delphi for Windows and used a SQL Server 2000 database as a data store. The project was delivered entirely to the customer’s satisfaction.
