Direct supervisor of 41 UAW hourly team members over three depts. - Lean initiative to reduce engine dress out by incorporating critical build requirements into assembly line operations. Resulted in monthly performance feedback and improved intensity at working level. - Reduced number of demerits affecting downstream customers with increased focus in station resulting in higher yield FTC (first time capability). - 5S standardization met regularly - foot printing and shadow boarding implementation across several departments. - Implemented SMED (single minute exchange die) in support of lead time reduction. - Increased team member involvement and empowerment resulting in productivity improvements. - Met targets on Aftermarket on time delivery, department shop supply reduction and launch of new product (Titan crankcase).
