Responsibilities included applying for and tracking various construction related permits (Building and Electrical) for the upgrade of Cellular tower equipment for clients including Sprint/Ericsson and T-Mobile. Tracked and monitored our General Contractor and Electrical Contractor State of Florida licenses and made sure that any fees and updated correspondence was delivered to the various governmental permitting jurisdictions. Other permit related activities included scheduling inspections, closing permits, uploading the necessary closeout documents to the client’s website and notifying Management when permits are successfully closed. Was responsible for Purchase Order requests, creating and submitting invoices to clients for services rendered and other construction related costs. Motor vehicle and worksite accident incident investigation and documentation and reporting to management and other internal protocols. Facilitated the initial orientation of new employees including paperwork, procuring tools, safety equipment and ensuring that all new employee training was completed. Participated in weekly safety calls and discussions, ensuring that any safety materials are passed onto the Technicians and posted on the network drive for retrieval. Used Microsoft Office apps extensively to report on the progress of work/permits and other construction related activities to Jacobs Management as well as the Client.
