I improved the overall efficiency our (Physical Vapor Deposition) PVD coating process and consistently performed preventive maintenance on coating systems and utilities.I created a specialized chromium nitride (CrN) coating process for heat-treated cast iron piston rings.I earned my Industrial (Class K) Wastewater Operator certification and acted as the sole wastewater operator for my facility. I coordinated with Environment, Health & Safety personnel to create an emergency action plan for my facility and administer safety training. I designed and created a unique nickel-ruthenium catalyst on a ceria-alumina support for the partial oxidation of methane by incipient wetness. The resulting catalyst achieved a high selectivity for hydrogen gas and a moderate overall conversion.
