Quality Coordinator
CurrentReporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Coordinator assists in the administration and clerical functions of the Quality Department. Working with Purchasing and Engineering as required, the incumbent will address quality documentation requirements ensuring documentation supplied meets drawing requirements. Enter information as required into the database receiving interface, ensuring all quality records are scanned for inclusion into history files. Upon completion of a project, scan drawing packages into the database.Primary ResponsibilitiesRetrieve receiving documentation from shippers/receivers for nuclear shipmentsReview of quality documentation (MTR’s, C of C’s, Test Certificates, Dimensional Reports, etc…) as received from vendors to ensure strict purchase order and drawing requirements are maintainedWork with Quality Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing to address any documentation discrepanciesOrganize and approve quality documentationReceive items into the database using the receiving interfaceScan the quality records into the system for traceability and inclusion into the history fileCreate and deliver required paperwork for receivers and accountingMaintain spreadsheet of active PO’s in quality for reviewLiaise with all departments to ensure timely processing of PO’sInvestigate and resolve questions / issues associated with open PO’sAll other day-to-day, ad-hoc requirements as directedPerform a variety of general office support duties such as document preparation, using MS Office and filingScan all manufacturing drawings upon completion of each automation project for inclusion into the history fileWork with IT on improvements to the history file scanning processPerform periodic audits of the electronic history file, identifying any deficiencies
