I was a strategic thought partner to both business and HR leaders within Google Cloud. I worked to influence my partners on the most effective ways to implement the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy for their respective product areas.

Note: Looker was acquired by Google in March.- Responsible for designing and executing the company’s DEI business strategy. - Launched 10 employee resource groups aligned with business priorities. - Designed and facilitated the company-wide global unconscious bias curriculum and achieved 85% participation rate among people managers, 45% participation rate among non-managers, 100% of the c-suite, and 100% of all leadership team members (VPs). - Developed innovative programming to educate employees on various diversity topics.- Partnered with recruiting team to develop hiring goals and increase the number of women by 11% and people of color by 20%. - Implemented external programs geared towards increasing the awareness of data science with local youth.- Enhanced the company's external DEI footprint through published blog posts, panel discussions, and Looker's employer brand.

- Developed and facilitated innovative and data driven diversity training, programs, and initiatives for more than 7,000 employees.- Collaborated with HR Analytics to evaluate and improve program effectiveness.- Reviewed and recommended modifications and/or enhancements to workplace policies, practices and procedures to increase diversity and inclusion.- Developed quarterly reports on bias incident summaries.- Evaluated departmental diversity & inclusion initiatives and recommended improvements.- Supported LGBTQIA+ employees, specifically Trans employees planning to transition at work and/or come out at work.- Managed the university’s diversity website and the visibility of university-wide DEI efforts.- Coordinated the university-wide bias reporting system.

- Provided academic advising to over 1,000 ILR undergraduate students.- Developed diversity and inclusion initiatives for ILR students and staff.- Collaborated with colleagues across the campus to deliver high quality student services and DEI programs.- Coordinated ILR’s role in the Pre Freshman Summer Program (PSP), which was a strategy to retain students from underrepresented backgrounds.- Served on the college’s Diversity Council and advised the Dean on the college's “Toward New Destination” goals (diversity and inclusion goals).- Advised the Minority ILR Student Organization (MILRSO) and the Men of Color Coalition (MOCC) which are two of Cornell's affinity based groups.- Reviewed applications to the school and served on the Admissions Committee.- Represented ILR at university-wide diversity meetings with senior administrators.- Collaborated with ILR Human Resources on diversity and inclusion programming opportunities specifically for faculty and staff.- Supervised one full-time staff member.- Oversaw four D&I budgets totaling $35,000.

I taught Introduction to Queer Studies, which lives within the Women and Gender Studies Program at Ithaca College. In this course, we examined contemporary LGBTQ (also known as queer) studies, primarily from feminist/queer theoretical perspectives and utilizing a social constructionist standpoint. Includes interdisciplinary and historical explorations of LGBTQ lives, with a focus on the intersectionality of LGBTQ identity with other categories of identity.

- Managed logistics of 6 campus wide programs focused on domestic and global social justice and diversity issues- Oversaw a yearly program budget of $30,000- Designed new and engaging programming that engaged the campus community and supported the overall Center’s goals- Developed relationships with various offices across the university to collaborate on large scale programs- Negotiated contracts with various vendors and artists- Advised the NYU chapter of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund- Supervised a Graduate Assistant, an Office Assistant, a design student and a graduate student intern- Increased participation in FOCUS Mentorship Program from 30 to 108 students (28% increase).- Facilitated diversity workshops for faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students- Coordinated admission visits by local and out-of-town middle and high schools

- Facilitated an average of 15 workshops for student organizations per semester on leadership development and diversity topics.- Coordinated logistics and developed curriculum for annual 3-day social justice retreat for 85 participants.- Assessed student leader needs and designed weekly leadership development series serving 20-30 students.- Managed annual awards ceremony's nomination, selection, and budget for 150 + student organizations.- Recruited, hired, and supervised 3 work study students.
