The role of Key Account Manager was to service Practice Management Application vendors, i.e. the software development companies that develop and sell software used by healthcare practitioners to submit electronic claims to the healthcare insurance companies.♦ Managed projects within Technology Management, setting project scope definition, schedules, managing budgets, coordinating project reviews, and solving any issues that may arise.♦ Account managed a portfolio of MediSwitch accredited software vendors in South Africa (ranging from General Practitioner, Hospital, Pharmacy and Pathology software vendors).

As Business Analyst/Project Manager, this role was to gather and analyse customer requirements and processes, business process re-engineering, create functional specifications, Systems Quality Assurance, assist users with UAT, systems implementation and configuration, and user training. Further responsibility was given for all aspects of Project Management.♦ Developed business requirements and business processes to ensure delivery of projects and contracts from design, to testing and end user training.♦ Develop detailed functional specifications and other systems documentation for changes, enhancements, and new systems deployments.
