As a career educator for over 15 years, I've served as primary, elementary and intermediate school administrator, a college level instructor and a mentor to teachers and students. I understand the extreme urgency of providing all students with a quality education, as well as the demands of school educators and the instructional skill development that is significant in the educational program. I've provided professional development in the areas of Professional Learning Communities, Data Driven Decision Making, curriculum design; formative assessment practices, student engagement, classroom management, and balanced literacy. I also have expertise in culturally responsive teaching, standards-based grading and reporting, State Learning Standards: Grade-Level Expectations (ELA, Math, Science & Social Studies); content literacy; Response-to-Intervention and enrichment.
