CurrentResponsibilities include, but not limited to the following: Meet with the administration, faculty and staff to review the progress of students, Supports the school’s philosophy, Coordinate the needs of students, Creates a vision for teaching and learning, support teachers and manage and guide learning specialists, and faculty in differentiated learning and best practices to meet the needs of each child, Provide leadership in developing comprehensive Education Plans, as well as implement and… Show more Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: Meet with the administration, faculty and staff to review the progress of students, Supports the school’s philosophy, Coordinate the needs of students, Creates a vision for teaching and learning, support teachers and manage and guide learning specialists, and faculty in differentiated learning and best practices to meet the needs of each child, Provide leadership in developing comprehensive Education Plans, as well as implement and evaluate the planned programs, Coordinates and lead Care Team meetings, Attend meetings with Special School District, organizing and documenting students’ learning profiles and evaluations, Work with parents to create collaboration and communication to best support student learning and well-being, Manage standardized testing for students with individualized learning needs, Train and support administrators to help create a professional atmosphere of support among the employees and various departments in order to maintain the highest levels of student support, Provide In-service day training and activities in student support, Assist teacher in establishing and implementing accommodations, Develop, coordinate and maintain working relationships with community outside for services inside the school: Speech & Language, Physical & Occupational Therapy, Coordinate with other school districts to secure funding from Title I, Title IIA, etc., Jewish Families & Child Services counseling (JF&CS), Collaborate with curriculum staff to establish and implement innovative instructional and curriculum design, Collaborate with leadership team in analyzing various school data for continuous improvement, Ensure principal has support in identifying effective research-based strategies, Oversee the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance and regulations Show less
