Work globally on mechanical part's manufacturing management, main responsibilities include but not limit to: - Manage CEM/suppliers on mechanical parts fabrication/Assembly to reach the QCD (Quality/Cost/Delivery) goals; * Qualify and audit mechanical manufacturing process; * Drive and support vendor on quality issue resolving; * Negotiate reasonable price base on industrial class perspective. - Early involve in mechanical design, give DFx feedback to R&Ds, support on the design improvement; - Provide professional technical support in New Product Introduction, work with NPI, R&D and EMS management team to ensure we chose the best solution developing; - Support NPI and Production Engineering to ensure all required processes and supporting documentation produced by EMS partners to ensure high quality article production; - Optimize mechanical supply base on cost reduction, performance improvement; - Select, qualify new suppliers; - Setup, define, improve quality standard for mechanical parts with quality people, Identify root cause of low yield or high RMA rates and introduce corrective actions; - As a global expert to provide DFX/Tooling/Material advice for all products.

- Ask for related information and materials for new projects, study on the technical requirement and build milestones, carry out an feasible and effective factory build plan; - Refine the factory build plan, Figure out risk items and make some backup plan;- Prepare quotation material base on the design and build requirement, support biz team on the RFQ;- Set clear goals and objectives to different NPI teams, make sure every team understand their role and responsibility well;- Track and drive the NPI team’s implementation for line readiness, fixture progress, equipment status, BOM maintenance, SFC development, assembly flow and SOP readiness etc.; - Leverage internal and external resources to solve problems that NPI team encountered, keep communication with RD and EPM team to make sure there is no gap when introduce new project to factory;- Manage and monitor the factory build schedule, cost, quality and final delivery to meet customer’s requirement; - Lead and drive NPI team, Mfg. team implement continuous process improvement and cut down project development cost; - Lead post-mortem meeting, collect and discuss every problems or issues after every development stage, push and track improvement or solutions;- Manage and monitor on the transfer from XVT build to high volume production, provide engineering support to MP team to make a seamless transition;- Do training to team members to make they get progress and feel confident on their career;

> Develop, design assembly process flow base on the given design;> Review, evaluate product design (mechanical structure, material, assembly, size, etc…) to find out any potential issues, make DFX report and feedback customer effective solutions; > Develop or design equipment, fixtures or jigs for process, do quality and lifecycle evaluation to make all facilities are cost effective; > Investigate, search worldwide suppliers to find and introduce new manufacturing technology which can improve the manufacturing process yield, higher production UPH or enhance product quality; > Discuss and get approval from customers about equipment /fixtures /tools, quote, fabricate, and tracking; > Fixtures, jigs maintain, management and improvement;> Design of experiments to validate components/assembly, parameters, figure out the best component /assembly or tooling for process;> Fine tune every parameters in the process such as torque, speed, cycle time, pressure, etc. to make them meet product’s specification and get a good yield rate; > Perform fixture /equipment /tooling /assembly line qualification; > Perform cost reduction plan, investigate and develop qualified and cheaper resource;> Lead trouble shooting, carry out failure analysis, solve major issue in developing stage;> Collect major issues happened during development stages, prepare MIL report and hold meeting with cross functional teams and customers to solve major issues; Tracking them till mass production;> Conduct Reverse Logistic (repair) process evaluation and prepare related documents, experiments;

Require, get all engineering information and materials which factory needs from customer, evaluate and assess on the given design and requirement, Submit DFM to customer and get feedback;Perform detailed schedule planning and build evaluation for new projects base on customer’s milestone and design;Design factory flow and get approved from customer;Keep close communication with customer and factory engineering team to have a seamless information transition, make sure every factory preparation and implementation meet product specification and customer requirement;Fabricate prototypes or specific samples for evaluation and qualification, prepare qualification documentations and get approval from customer;Manage the whole development progress and quality, leverage resource to solve major issue during factory builds;Transfer trial line to mass production line and provide technical support for mass production team.- Familiar with the whole L5 process such as molding/forging/extrusion, stamping, machining, surface finishing, laser etching, wire cutting, silk printing, etc.;- Fine communication skills to lead different functional team work together to meet the common goal or expectation;- Superior at getting a balance between Quantity, Quality and Schedule;- Skilled on process capacity and risk evaluation, establish back up plan.

- Design, develop new process base on the design, communicate and discuss with RD team on the process flow and parameters to make sure process setting meet product requirement;- Prepare SOP and flowchart for factory build, study on the cycle time and execute line balance fine tune;- Process failure trouble shooting and documentation, feedback to customer RD and PM;- Fixture/jig design, assembly, validation, set up and maintain.- Collaborate with suppliers on the equipment maintenance and parameters fine tune, design, perform DOEs if needed; - Implement continuous process improvement to cut down project cost from initial development to high volume production.
