Course Writers are responsible for creating, collating, and revising course material in collaboration with faculty, subject matter experts and internal stakeholders, ensuring course materials align with sound pedagogy and learning design principles. The number one responsibility of this role is execution the of course development plan, measured against internal project plans and individual quality metrics.

The number one responsibility of this role is execution of course development, with direction from the Course Strategist and Course Writing Manager, measured against internal project plans and individual quality metrics.Key Role and Responsibilities: 1. Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create the first draft of select course content. 2. Conceptualise, research and create course content and activities that align with 2U’s learning design methodology and quality standards, and faculty’s direction, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.3. Assist in addressing content-related queries that arise during the marketing and presentation of courses.4. Collaborate with team members to refine processes and contribute to team and individual development, support the research and testing of new approaches to content development, and contribute to general innovation within the department.

Tasks include:- Researching and writing course content in line with pedagogical thinking- Collaborating with subject matter experts- Creating assessments for online courses

Cash flow management. Reconcile cash on hand advances. Compile budget vs actual reports. Month-end recons. Assist with preparation of contract budgets. Database validation for BI Reporting.

Varied workload - anything from BEE audits to Provisional Tax, Cash flow, Sales forecasting for Tax planning, Excel based workpaper builds (including Cash flow, VAT recon and Payroll checking), Excel training, Payroll, AFS reviews, external audit management, ERP management et al.

Standard and adjustment journal processing for three hospitals. Bank statement recon, trade debtors recon, control accounts recons, VAT recons, petty cash review and authorisation. Review and process cheques. Process budgets. Check and process stock take figures. Update management monthly reports. Almost daily communication with Financial admin manager at hospitals. Report directly to regional Financial Manager. Liaison with hospital Patient Admin manager regarding sales journals et al. Excel based bookkeeping of Mediclinic’s European based holding companies. Review/mark Creditors Clerk’s invoice processing and account recons. Review/mark Creditors Clerk’s payment lists. Authorise payment lists.

Processing of expenses incurred by three hospitals. Reconciliation of creditor balances, necessary filing and admin tasks. Provisions for next month's expenses. Necessary liaison with suppliers, off-site financial officer and procurement officer on a daily basis. Assisted with another hospital's processing. Furthermore I have assisted with the writing of various service level agreements between the creditors department and other departments and the writing of company policies.
