- Access control and profiling of all people boarding the ship.- Control of gangway operation and all the ship's shell doors including positioning the ship upon arrival.- Preserve the safety and security of all guest and crew onboard - approximately 6500 Guests and crew.- Assist in Investigating of security incidents and crimes committed onboard and reporting to Deputy Chief Security Officer and Chief Security Officer.- Crime scene seal and evidence preservation experience.- Crowd and crisis management.- Managing of the key system of the ship, metal keys and electronic access keys.- Experience in conducting alcohol and drug tests.- Experience with Drug Detection Kits & Explosive Detection Kits.- Experience in presenting Simfox Training to new trainees.- Direct Port manager of the security team.- Scheduling of security duties and safety fire patrol rounds after port.- Experience in CCTV surveillance, operation and maintenance.- Experience in operating X-ray scanners, Archway Metal Detectors and Hand Held Metal Detectors.- Experience in working and co-operating with Port security facilities and their representatives.- Screening of ship's stores and provisions.- Conducting security training to all crew members onboard. (ISPS TRAINING).- Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and related programs.- Communicate and coordinate with all departments onboard.- Problem solving in a hotel oriented environment.- Conducting security inspection of the ship.- First aid and emergency evacuation experience.
